Hi, Dean here from Lockmaster Locksmiths.
Let me tell you a little about myself and the service we provide.
I started in the Locksmith Trade in 1984 at a small shop in an arcade by the beach in Burleigh Heads Queensland Australia. I had previously completed my first Trade Certificate (with honours) as a Motor Mechanic.
I then went on to work as an engineers assistant on Dredges. Long hours, but I loved working on the ocean.
When that period of life closed, I found it very difficult to get into motor mechanics. A friend of mine was working for Terry (the locksmith) and I wanted to also. I offered to work for free to learn the trade.
At first I was rejected, but I didn’t give up. Finally Terry put me on part time doing odd jobs and repairing shoes. Before long the business got busier and busier. Then came Locksmith Training. I loved Locksmithing. I have been in the trade off and on now for well over 30 years. I have had successful business then sold them.
I made Canada my home in 2005. Although there are some slight differences between here and Australia; a lock is a lock.
I enjoy helping people get back into their homes or business when they have locked themselves out or lost their keys. I also enjoy servicing Safe’s, and re-keying locks when people have moved home or business.
